We never really hopped on the neon bandwagon trend. At first sight & sound it seems a bit age inappropriate for us or too much visual energy to live with! But after coming across this beautiful layout in Real Simple magazine we can definitely feel some love coming on for this high voltage palette. Key?? Try in tiny touches in your home & wardrobe.

of my own little {work} space at home. Once upon a time, I had a cute room then hello family, hello teenager, good-bye cute room. and ever since our little visit with ms Erin Loechner of Design for Mankind, I’ve never been more inspired than now to carve out {or back
} some of that space. love ms Erin Loechner’s space…it’s unexpected, simple and filled with personality. Surfing around, an all-white-tucked-in vibe is also calling out to me. and I know, having this fab workspace at home may require extra motivation to tackle the to-do list. sorry, working in workout gear won’t do it for me, but hey a casual chic maxi would and presto….i’m ready for anything!

Finally, the midwest is getting our fair share of gorgeous-California-like weather! This past week we hit the 80’s and I was just aching to completely redo my front yard, the back decks, all the random pots. but can’t, because I know (all too well) that we’ll see some snow in april! So till may, I’ll be daydreaming bout summer gatherings with friends, colorful outdoor spaces AND matching accessories, of course
