Recently, in the course of our fashion hustling, we happily found ourselves front and center at a Mina + Olya sales presentation. A completely new, not-on-our-radar line, our curiosity was instantly piqued. In their 4th season, these ladies have found their niche and are steadily honing their craft. Theirs is a luxury brand, with the added bonus of being eco-friendly.
The Spring 2014 collection is made up of versatile and wearable separates and irresistible dresses, constructed of a variety of sustainable fabrics, including a yummy and light sustainable silk and (my personal favorite) a delicious heavyweight and ultra-breathable linen and cotton canvas blend.
Original and interesting prints, fashion-forward and beautiful silhouettes and thoughtful details make for a collection that is right up our alley. And we’re going to need more than one piece for our kits.
Are you ready to get stripey? We are! It’s Summertime and it is H O T , so we are struggling to stay cool and cute at the same time.
Our solution? Edith A. Miller.
Maybe it’s our obsession with all those effortlessly chic and gorgeous French women, but we love a good stripe. So easy, yet so impactful. And so fun. What more can you ask for from your wardrobe?

Stripes on tees, dresses and even bags. All you need to add is the location. And maybe some red lipstick* and a pair of clogs.
Ahh, summer. The Fourth of July is maybe our favorite holiday of the year because it falls right in the middle of what is, hands-down, the very best season in Chicago. We deal with crappy weather 9 months out of the year, so we really love our summers. So to celebrate this fun and sun filled season, we are happy to share with you our summer lookbook. Shot by the lovely and talented Kirsten Miccoli, and featuring the adorable and charming Lauren Johnson, we hope you enjoy our little ode to summer (and Chinatown…)
