In anticipation of Fashion Week (coming next Thursday to a laptop/smartphone/iPad near you), today we give you a very special installment of Hey, I Like Your Style: featuring the lovely and always-inspiring Erin Hiemstra of Apartment 34, who will be speaking at the annual IFB conference next week in New York.
Erin began her blogging career back in 2007 as an interiors blogger, documenting the process of renovating and settling into her new Seattle home, Apartment #34. To know Erin (or to read her blog) is to know that she loves anything and everything pretty, so naturally her blog has evolved to include all the things that make up a stylish life (shoes included, obvs).
Erin is one of those people that you look at and instantly think, how does she manage to do all that? Her blog is impeccable — consistent, fresh, friendly, and filled to the brim with interesting and relevant content. She knows what it takes to turn a blog into a business and how to make that business a successful one. She works hard and it shows.
Erin was kind enough to open her doors to us a few months back and give us a tour of her new life in San Francisco — her new loft (with an incredible view of AT & T Park, where she can cheer on her beloved Seattle Mariners when they’re in town), her 2 adorable dogs (Bailey, a yellow lab and Chloe, a French bulldog), and of course, her fabulous wardrobe.
Here’s a few things you might not know about Erin (and some you might — addicted to shoes? We knew that!):

Erin is one smart cookie. If you’re lucky enough to be attending IFB CON (you can get tickets here), be sure to catch her panel on the Business of Blogging. And if you can’t make it to NYC to hear her, you’re in luck — you can catch many of her pearls of wisdom in an online interview she did with Monica Lee.
And don’t forget to subscribe to her blog, Apartment 34 — it’s one of the prettiest and smartest places on the web, we swear!
