Now that Memorial Day has come & gone…it’s full count down to summer!! Here’s an adorable little video we had the pleasure of styling with one of our favorite creative teams here in Chicago, Do You Remember Summer? We do, can’t wait!! Enjoy!!
We have officially jumped onto the matching top & bottom wagon, Don’t know why it’s taken so long, the full head to toe is just like donning on one of our favorite styles, the onsie…happily, this fairly new trend is easier to handle during those bathroom breaks! And it’s just getting started, this look is all over the runways for fall too. I personally have a plaid top & pant from Steven Alan I cannot wait to sport this season. How bout you? Ready to do the full look?? Let the matching begin!!
It should come as no surprise that we love the streetstyle voyeurism of Fashion Month. We just love the inspiration provided by all those fashion lovers and trend setters crowding the streets of New York, London, Milan and Paris. One of the popular trends we spotted this season was black socks. Short, scrunched, sheer, athletic… our favorite fashionistas were pairing all manners of black socks with everything from pointy stilettos to chunky sandals.
Are you inspired? We sure are and we’re ready to rock some socks!
We love a gooood skirt and, no doubt, we love a fabulous pant. How fantastic when they’re paired together! Now that spring is officially only 4 weeks away (yay!!!) this look (though seems a bit adventurous, we know) is perfect to transition into spring! It gives you the warmth of layers and yet also lets you enjoy those pretty skirts (and dresses) that usually only see warmer sunnier days. This winter has been brutal, and life’s too short…grab that pretty skirt & your fave pant and go have fun with the look we love!!
Best way to beat the winter blues…(aside from maybe baking a cake or treating ourselves to a little retail therapy) is getting out of the usual go-to black winter garb and into some red hot color! Even a little touch here or there will do the trick. You think Valentines was thoughtfully planned smack dab in the middle of winter? We think so
